PepsiCo, Inc. is a Fortune 100 company that utilizes a five (5) fixed wing aircraft to meet executive on demand travel needs. We operate under provisions of 14 CFR Part 91 as a non-commercial operator from two bases located in White Plains (KHPN), New York and Addison, Texas (KADS). White Plains is the larger base with more support and most of the fleet. In White Plains we operate a Global 5000, 1 Gulfstream G-IVSP, and a Challenger 604, the other two Challenger 604s are based out of the Addison base. The two bases operate identically, utilizing the same manuals, processes, and procedures. There are a total of 36 employees in the department lead by Patrick Cunningham (Director of Aviation) who reports to the Accountable Executive, (PepsiCo CFO). Flight Operations for both bases is managed by Steve Ragland and each base has a Manager of Maintenance overseeing the day-to-day facility operations as well as the base maintenance teams. Each aircraft has a Lead Technician assigned to manage and oversee the maintenance performed on PepsiCo aircraft.  Maintenance is performed on a proactive basis to minimize the likelihood of mechanical problems.  The Safety Manage System of PepsiCo Aviation is mature and strong this is due the direct involvement of the Safety Team which is by Lead Captain Dan Nolder. His good leadership and commitment to new safety structure improved reporting and overall involvement of the SMS.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
